Spanish Red Cross unveils its Video Contact Center for Teleassistance #IVVR [video]

The Spanish Red Cross unveils the latest Video Contact Center for Teleassistance (called “Videoatención” in spanish) designed to help Seniors and develop domestic programs. This service represents a new evolution for contact centers rollouts over the years. We are very proud about this project where our Video IVR (IVVR) technology integrated with the Altitude Software uCI Contact Center Solution helps healthcare and solidarity. Beyond the crisis, video calls provide a new high-tech evolution on Teleassistance with important benefits face-to-face communication, real-time evaluation, video-interactive tests and of course a significant cost reduction for healthcare. The City of Getafe Phone Self-Service for 2012 Summer School Activities [Business Case]

Spain, Madrid – May 19th, 2012. Each year, the Getafe’s Schools and the “Delegation de Education del Ayto de Getafe” conducts the school summer’s activities campaign for the next holidays. I6NET has developed the phone self-service dedicated to improve the Citizen Attention Service of the City of Getafe. VXI* Text-to-Speech Online Demo #TTS

We are pleased to unveil the first IVR / IVVR demo service to test 10 TTS engines! This demo show you how each TTS works with our VXI* VoiceXML browser to test many languages by yourself over a PSTN call or a web call. Our VXI* server is connected to all of these engines at the same time, and it’s running each VoiceXML session in real-time. We will extend this demo service for more languages and voices in the next weeks. Voice interactive classroom: best practices and design strategies [Research Paper]

We are pleased to reference a new research paper from the Department of Computer Science, University of Oviedo, Spain. This paper provides an insight into the process of developing comprehensive voice-enabled and interoperable learning services. It provides a background on the Voice Interactive Classroom, a service-oriented architecture that enables cross-platform multichannel access to Internet-based learning. Strategies and practices for designing, developing, documenting and evaluating service-oriented applications are also presented, which allow aural access to existing e-learning platforms. In addition, it’s summarise the development of four voice-enabled learning services and report the findings obtained from evaluating their usability and didactic effectiveness.
