New Xtras* Video IP/3G addons released!

We are please to announce a new release of Xtras Video IP/3G addons for the last VXI* VoiceXML browser 4.3 for Asterisk. Following VXI* last update, binary packages are available for all same Linux distributions (Debian, Redhat, CentOS, Ubuntu, …). Video IP/3G addons include several modules (3G-324m stack for lastest video telephony, Video 3G/IP conferencing, Video 3G/IP call record, RTSP for IP Cameras video/audio/PTZ) to create video phone applications thru VoiceXML, according to video services you need to develop: New features added and modifications: H264 transcoder added Video conferencing updated RTSP for Linksys IP Cams added RFC 2190 transcoder updated These packages are only available for IVVR production platforms powered by VXI* VoiceXML over Asterisk. 2009: The Fourth Generation of VXI* VoiceXML browser for Asterisk

During this year 2009, all VXI* releases have been published as 4.X for 32bit and 64bit kernels. The Five Generation of VXI* VoiceXML browser for Asterisk is now going to take place next year 2010. CNT Ecuador launches 116, the first voice portal for all its international calls traffic

Quito-Madrid, December 10, 2009. Corporación Nacional de Telecomunicaciones del Ecuador (CNT), ecuadorian national fixed line carrier has implemented an advanced 116 phone self-service base on large and scalable Voice Portal systems for all its international calls. The 116 is a dynamic IVR application with Speech Recognition to select the country, cities and ask for any local numbers. All the solution has been implemented by Interlancompu who makes the installation, developments, and platforms’ configuration base on VXI* VoiceXML browser from I6NET. The voice portal user interface has been designed and created using Eclispe VoiceXML generation tools, both Speech Synthesis (TTS) and  Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) engines for spanish voices are provided by Verbio Technology.
